Winter is here...now what!

For those of you that have ventured outside today, if even for a minute, it is clear that winter has arrived. While it has technically been winter for quite some time, it hasn't really felt like winter. The frost, however, is upon us. So what does that mean for us? Well...finding fun indoor activities becomes significantly more important! Luckily for you, the library offers just what you need to cure those winter blues.

Our programs are one way to get yourself out of the house, but also out of the cold. Whether its a craft, a story time, or a movie, a fun library program can be just what you need to liven up a cold winter's day! Remember, registration for our winter programs begins January 9th.

Many of you have probably participated in the Winter Reading Club in the past. As a reminder, it begins on January 29th with a fun kick-off celebration! The Winter Reading Club is a fun way to read books, get fun prizes, and interact with all of your library friends! I don't know about you, but by late January I'm really looking for something fun to do!

I had to bring up homework! We have tons of resources to help you execute research for a report, write a biography, detail a map, or complete whatever your assignment may be. Many of our patrons visit us after school during the week , as well as on the weekends to work on their projects.

If you just happen to find a cool book to read during your visit, I won't tell anyone! Don't forget that we have large collections of movies, audiobooks, picture books, cookbooks, crafting books, and items covering any other topic you may be curious about! Start a winter hobby by searching here!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
