NPR's Backseat Book Club

I stumbled upon a really cool book club that NPR is hosting for children's books.  It is called the Backseat Book Club.  Every month they choose a title and give readers a chance to e-mail questions.  At the end of the month, they interview the author of the book where your question could be asked!!  This seems like a really cool idea for the winter, when we are all "cooped up..." Of course, if you decide to get into this club, we can surely find you a copy of the book here at the library!

Speaking of book clubs...we are starting one up here at the library!  It begins January 14th...click here to sign up, or for more information.  The first book we will discuss is The Aviary, by Kathleen O' Dell.  Unlike the NPR Backseat Book Club, we will actually meet in-person!  We will also have snacks!  NPR will not be giving you snacks!  (Haha...just kidding, NPR)  The days are slowly getting longer, in terms of sunlight.  Until we can really start getting outside more, why not read?
