Rest in Peace, Lee Ames...

Lee Ames, author of the wonderful Draw 5o...learn to draw series, died recently at the age of 90. Lee spent his final years in Huntington and was kind enough to visit the library in October, 2009.



Our condolences go out to Lee's family, as we are very thankful for his many contributions. If you would like to check out a few of his books, we have many to choose from at the library.

Look who came to the library!

Lee Ames, the author of the Draw 50 series stopped into the library yesterday and signed some of his books. See if you can find a copy on the shelf and learn to draw 50 new things.

Look in J743 to see if you can find some. If not, don't be afraid to come to the desk and ask for some help.
